Urban Studies Scholarship

Description:
The Urban Studies Scholarship is available to a limited number of entering freshmen and transfer students to the traditional program at Warner Pacific College who are intending to major in Urban Studies.
Successful applicants must show a commitment to community service and a desire to be "change agents" in society. Applicants will demonstrate the principals from the Bible found in Galatians 3:28. "There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Jesus Christ," and Matthew 25:40, "just as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me."
Applicants must complete the admissions and scholarship applications, as well as be admitted to Warner Pacific College by March 15, 2012.
Recipients must apply for the Urban Studies Departmental Scholarship in future years to receive an Urban Studies scholarship after their first year.
