Green Energy Scholarship Program
Provided by Tabor 100
Description:
The Green Energy Scholarship Program is one of several scholarship programs hosted and operated by the Tabor 100 organization. Our supporting partner in this program is Puget Sound Energy [PSE].
Applicants should be enrolled in or enrolling in an academic course of study that helps prepare them for a career in “Green Energy”. Open to students in all Majors, not necessarily just the sciences. There will be up to three $3,500 Green Energy Scholarships awarded, each potentially renewable for a total of three years. [Maximum full amount: $10,500 per scholar]
In selecting the Tabor 100 Green Energy Scholarships recipients, the selection committee will follow the guidelines outlined below. These guidelines are deemed to be critical elements in assessing the achievements, character, and future potential of the candidates under review. Taken as a whole, they afford an excellent evaluation metric, and the selection committee should take care not to put any one element above all others.
Students should return the completed application, a current (or most recent) high school or college transcript and an essay to the Tabor 100 Scholarship Committee on or before Aug. 5, 2011. Applicants are also responsible for assuring all necessary information is submitted in full by the deadline. The Scholarship Committee will review all completed application packets.
All applicants must meet the PSE service area requirements to be considered for the scholarship. See the Instructions & Questions area for more details about this requirement.
