The Puget Sound Association of Phi Beta Kappa is open to all PBK members living in the Puget Sound region. PBK is the oldest and most prestigious academic honor society in the United States. PSA-PBK was founded in 1953 for the specific purpose of providing scholarships to students, including one for undergraduates at the University of Washington and the University of Puget Sound.
