NW Plus CU Scholarship

Description:
NW Plus Credit Union (NWPCU) will award scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year; these will be awarded to graduating high school seniors and post-secondary students. Graduating high school seniors will vie for a maximum of $1,000 per person and post-secondary students will vie for a maximum of $1,000 per person. Eligibility is limited to members who have been a member in good standing for at least 90 days prior to application. If under the age of 18, parent must be a member in good standing for at least 90 days. No family member of a NWPCU employee or volunteer official is eligible.
The following items must be submitted: Please no staples or bound material
1. The NWPCU Scholarship Application Form.
2. Two letters of recommendation. The letters should include the author's relationship to you and how long they have known you.
3. a. High School Transcripts and SAT scores, if recent (within 5 years) high school graduate.
b. College Transcripts, if post-secondary student currently or within last 5 years.
c. If neither, please explain your circumstances with a detailed letter.
4. The following attachments:
Description of community service and/or school activities
Essay on educational goals and interests
The complete application packet must be postmarked on or before March 9, 2012. The Selection Committee will make its decision by May 11, 2012. The completed application should be mailed to:
