Non-renewable award of $2,500 to a junior or senior attending an ICW member
institution. Stanley O. McNaughton, 1921-1998, was a “founding father” of Independent Colleges of Washington and was recognized as one of the most effective philanthropists in the history of this region. Applicants must be college sophomores or juniors at the time of award (upcoming fall). They should demonstrate a history of dedicated volunteer service through high school and college, balanced by academic achievement. The award is not renewable. Students must be attending an Independent Colleges of Washington member college or university: Gonzaga University - Heritage University - Pacific Lutheran University - Saint Martin's University - Seattle Pacific University - Seattle University - University of Puget Sound - Walla Walla University - Whitman College - Whitworth University.
