College Bound Scholarship

Provided by Higher Education Coordinating Board

Description:
The Washington College Bound Scholarship program is a commitment of college scholarship funds to income-eligible Washington middle school students. To be eligible, you must meet the family income standards, make a pledge to graduate from a Washington high school with a 2.0 GPA or higher, and be a good citizen. Family income from your senior year will be verified upon high school graduation. ** The award amount will vary as tuition rates for 2016 are not yet set. The amount of the College Bound Scholarship is based on the tuition and fees (at public college rates) not covered by other state financial aid, plus a small book allowance. ** The total funds available for 2016 is unknown at this time as the legislature has not yet set a budget for that year. Information about this budget should be available in the spring of 2015.
