The goal of the First Scholars program is to support first-generation college students and enhance their ability to successfully graduate. The program is open to incoming first-time, full-time freshmen whose parents have no education beyond high school. Selected students receive personalized support, an annual award of $5,000, which is renewable for a total award of $20,000 over four years.
