Jaime Krausse Campbell Memorial Scholarship

Description:
This fund was established by Jaime's parents through community donations and proceeds from the 2006 "Run For the Border" sponsored by the Columbia River H.O.G. motorcycle group. It was established in honor of their daughter, Jaime Krausse-Campbell, who perished when her helicopter went down in Iraq in January 2006. Jaime was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 207th Aviation Regiment, Anchorage Alaska. Grants are made with the understanding that the applicant will attend school for the full term as a full-time student with a minimum of 12 hours credit. The applicant agrees that a proportionate part of the grant will be refunded to Columbia Basin Foundation if the student drops out of school for any reason.
