Eva L Merrill Memorial Scholarship

Provided by Columbia Basin Foundation

Description:
The Eva L. Merrill Memorial Scholarship was established in December 2000 by Harold M. Merrill, Eva’s husband. Eva was a 50 year resident of Curlew, Washington and had a keen interest in youth activities. She was a great supporter of Curlew School and its students. She believed in the value of young people and the need for higher education. Eva outlined the details of this scholarship fund prior to her passing in 1999. Grants are made with the understanding that the applicant will enroll in, and complete, a minimum of 12 credit hours each term. The applicant agrees that a proportional part of the grant will be refunded to Columbia Basin Foundation if the student does not complete full-time coursework during any term.
