Burton Wiig Memorial Scholarship

Started by Mr. Wiig’s former students and friends, this fund provides college scholarships to graduates of Moses Lake High School. Mr. Wiig was a teacher and counselor at Moses Lake High School for many years. He impacted many lives and was highly regarded by his students. Grants are made with the understanding that the applicant will enroll in, and complete, a minimum of 12 credit hours each term. The applicant agrees that a proportional part of the grant will be refunded to Columbia Basin Foundation if the student does not complete full-time coursework during any term.
