Description:
The purpose of the Inez Kertson Scholarship administered by The Seattle Foundation is to award a Scholarship to a deserving Ilwaco High School senior. Inez Kertson was a peninsula resident for 35 years and had many interests in reading and travel as well as keeping up on current affairs involving various social and political issues. It was her desire to inspire her daughters and others to pursue their education and secure their future. Therefore, her four daughters, Toni Milne, Teri Kertson, Cydni Kertson and Kim Kertson, created the scholarship in honor their mother after her death in 1994.
