Bobbi McCallum Memorial Scholarship

Description:
The scholarship was established in 1970 by the late Dr. Walter Scott Brown in memory of Bobbi McCallum, a prizewinning Seattle Post-Intelligencer reporter and columnist. She died in 1969 at age 25 while a patient of Dr. Brown. After Dr. Brown passed away, the Seattle P-I ensured that the scholarship continued and placed it at The Seattle Foundation. The scholarship is given on the basis of talent, need and the motivation to pursue a journalism career. To be eligible, the recipient must be a junior or senior in college during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded.
